We began Peek-A-Boo in 2007. Our first unofficial sale was held in Holly's home in Maumelle. We were just 4 friends selling our children's items. Shoppers were amazed at how much we had to sell. Several asked if we had owned a store! We were embarrassed to say that 75% of the items belonged to Holly and I.
With such a great response we decided to take consignors and see where we would be led. We prayed for 25 consignors and were blessed with many more! It was a wonderful learning experience.
As single mothers and true shoppers - we have found a way for our girls to dress like diva's on our modest salaries. This is our wish for our customers also. We began this dream with the hope of being able to teach what we had learned from our experiences with other consingment sales. We wanted Mom's to have an option to make more money for their used quality items than a yard sale or consignment store offer.
Holly and I have been friends for more than 20 years. We each bring something different to Peek-A-Boo. I love to shop at specialty boutiques. Where as, Holly is "THE" bargain shopper. We, like many of you, have volunteered - consigned -shopped and stood in long lines to find great bargains for our children.
